John King married (1856) Emma Mauzy b. 1841 Rockingham County, to Albert G. Mauzy and Julia Nicholas Mauzy. She died ca. 1881. They are found on the 1880 federal census for Rockingham County, VA Dec. 17, 1886, they became parents of Harry Bernard King in Mt. Solon, Augusta County, VA.
