Teel (1818-1894) and M.E. Harnesberger (1825-1893) thru their daughter, Elizabeth "Bettie" Baker Teel. She married Ralph Allen, son of Orville Allen and Sarah Ann Davis of Albemarle, VA. Ralph and Bettie's son, Bernard Peyton Allen, was my great-grandfather. I have little information on B.P. Teel. M.E. was the daughter of Stephen J. Harnesberger (1787-1875) and Elizabeth Baker (1789-1849), d/o Michael Baker. The Harnesbergers descended from Switzerland and Germany, arriving in the early 1700s. Both B.P. and M.E. died in "Cherry Grove," Clarksville, Red River, TX. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
