She stated "There is bo evidence of any Maryland William prior to William who married Barbara Kieffer.Therefore there is no wife named Mary Kieffer married to a prior William and I can look from here to eternity and still not find a William and Mary. This Mary Kieffer is a figment of someone's 'wishful thinking' and has no basis in fact" there is awilliam Claybaugh who lived in Rockingham and Hardy Co Virginia-he is presumed brother of Frederick Clabaugh of Frederick co. His son Nichlas married Reecca in VA around 1785. This line moved to Ohio/He is recorded in Franklin Co. Ohio in 1820's. Rebecca burial is recorded as Reynoldsville in Franklin county Ohio in 1836,age 76 The researcher also stated that internet listing of chi! ldren of William/Mary could be children of William of Virginia/West Virginia- My researcher also stated "There is one William son of John,son of Frederick. This William was born 1782 in Frederick County died in Sevier Tenneesse 1815-We do not know of lineage of William who maried Barbara Kieffer. Bobb
