I am so interested in your e-mail concerning Samuel Smith of Rockingham County, VA. My Great Grandfather was Samuel Smith b 1822 and Married Permelia Boyers b1829 and married June 1850. I have been trying to find who his parents were. I know where they were buried in Rockingham County near Lacy Springs area north of Harrisonburg, VA. They had eleven children.
