    3. Hi, I think I read somewhere about my Fye line having something to do with that church. In a related question: I have Charles Fye died 1787 Boone's Run, VA. Does anyone know where that is? Thanks, Sandy

    2. Sandy, Boone's Run is about 5 miles north of McGaheysville, Va. It runs out of Runkle's Gap on the east side of the Massanutten Mt. and flows into the north fork of the Shenandoah River. Peaked Mountain church and old Saint Peters Lutheran would have been the closest churches to the Boone's Run area in the 1780's. Traveling east on Rt. 33 from Harrisonburg, about 2 miles past McGaheysville, turn left on Rt. 602. In about 3 miles you will cross Boone's Run. It is near the present community of East Point. Rt. 602 runs roughly parallel to the east side of the Massanutten Mt.
