I've been following your thread and find it facinating. My husband is a MILLER descendant and his great grandfather was Jacob Miller, but not your line of Jacobs. There are many of the same surnames involved in his line of Millers also. His Jacob's line originated with the immigrant ancestor Johann Michael Miller into PA, then MD, the Rockingham Co., VA. My husband was born and raised in Bridgewater.
