AllCensus.com has CD's with built-in viewers for actual census records. They only create a CD if someone orders it--which can take up to three months. Since I ordered Rockingham County for the years, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 they are in stock. Not cheap--but they are .tif images which beats a poor quality microfilm copy any day. Be aware that there is no index on these CD's. Indexes are available for Rockingham in various forms (some not very good) for the years, 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1900.
