I'm researching these families -- if you are still out there, I hope you'll get in touch! We have just recently had the beginnings of a breakthrough - DNA evidence makes it look likely that the Pendleton Co. Hoovers are related to the Brock's Gap Hoovers. The other big question is whether we are related to the Timberville Hoovers. We are very much looking for male Hoovers from any of these families who would be willing to have a DNA test done to confirm our relationship.
