This is NOT my family or post, nor do I know the dates of these individuals, but since I haven't seen other answers.... I can't tell you EXACTLY what it means, but it is highly likely that one of the following applies to the two John Lawsons: 1) they descend from a common ancestor [ie they are cousins] OR 2) one of them is a descendant of the other OR 3) they are the same individual with two wives {actually they could be the same individual with one wife who went by both names Eve and Rebecca} Dates should narrow down which of these cases are more likely.
