Need your advice... If a Confederate soldier was admitted to the Jackson Hospital (military?) in Richmond for several months in 1864, would there be separate medical records maintained in the Virginia archives on these patients? Or, were all the records integrated into their unit records and returned to the states where the soldier originated? Could one of you refer me to someone who may help me with this? John Dinkins
