I know he was born in 1805 and died in 1861. His parents were Abraham Reid and Elizabeth Brubaker. I am interested in trying to figure out where he and his parents may be buried. Isaac must be within walking distance of the old Spitzer farm owned by Paul & Mary Layman, before them Grover & Ethel Spitzer, before them Ambrose & Matrona Spitzer in Mayland off of Phillips Store Road. Was he actually married to Sarah Spitzer? What was the relation to the Knupps? I have a copy of his will that mentions the Knupp and Reid farm. Any other info would be helpful. Thanks, Don P.S. Hello, cousin, I also descend from Abraham Reid and Elizabeth Brubaker, but through (1) their son Benjamin Franklin Reed (brother of Isaac), whose daughter, Mary Jane Reed, married Ambrose Knupp, and through (2) their son, Jacob Reed, who married Sarah Kiser (their daughter, Elizabeth Reed married Henry Clay Buhl--my gg grandparents). I would be happy to share what little I have on this line with you in return for information on your line. I list Isaac Reid as a child of Abraham and Elizabeth, but have no information on him or his descendants. Unfortunately, I don't know where Abraham and Elizabeth were buried. In fact, I don't have a death date for either of them, except to know that Elizabeth died after 1850. Hope to hear from you.
