Looks lie Interstate 81 today in many respects. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, March 18, 2006 10:42 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [VAROCKIN] Great Waggon Road A map of the Great Philadelphia Wagon Rd: http://philnorf.tripod.com/mapofthe.htm Some history: http://www.electricscotland.com/history/america/wagon_road.htm
Interstate 81 runs north from Hagerstown to Harrisburg, then east for 20-30 miles then turning north to Scranton, PA. US 30 runs from Gettysburgh east to Pittsburg, but west of Gettysburg seems too far north. But don't see a modern day connection that goes from Hagerstown to Gettysburg. --- Ross Webster <[email protected]> wrote: > Looks lie Interstate 81 today in many respects. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Saturday, March 18, 2006 10:42 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [VAROCKIN] Great Waggon Road > > > A map of the Great Philadelphia Wagon Rd: > http://philnorf.tripod.com/mapofthe.htm > > > Some history: > http://www.electricscotland.com/history/america/wagon_road.htm > > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
