Actually, a good quality CD-ROM R/W drive is available for less than $200. Best Buys has one on sale now for only $179. I recommend a R/W drive as well. Most any of the computer stores carry them for less than $200. When you back up please keep a copy off site as well. A house fire will destroy back-ups as well.
