How did you figure out that George's wife was Edith Thomas? I found two diff marriage ref's on-line for George Smith in Rockingham Co, VA---one to Elizabeth Rutherford in 1798 and one, as you know, to Edith in 1799. Would love to be able to say for sure which one and why. (BTW---Reliance, Daniel and Samuel have a facinating story to takes them to Ohio & Illinois...and results in a total of 17 offspring...the little I've uncovered makes me beg for more! :) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
