Hi Rockingham County Rooters, Is it Hugh Morrison, Jr, you are discussing? The Shenandoah County Historical Society published a book of his photographs in 2007, "A Pictorial History of Shenandoah County: 50 Years Through the Lens of Hugh Morrison, Jr." Several years ago there were a large number of his photos, unidentified, at the Shenandoah County library. Visitors to the Library were able to look through and see if they could identify any the people in any of the photos. At the site below, you will find the Shen. County Historical Society's Fall 2008 newsletter, with information about Mr. Morrison. I don't know if Hugh Morrison, Jr and the Morrison who had a photography shop in Harrisonburg are the same person or not, but will check out the Shenandoah Co. information.
