Gaines married Elizabeth Cammack 28 May 1842. I believe her parents were Catherine and William Cammack. It is reported that Thomas Piner married Nancy Cammack 7 Aug 1842. I was told that their marriage bond was destroyed during the Civil War. They had a daughter, Catherine Piner, who married John Robert Gaines in 1877. Is there any verifiable documentation that demonstrates that Elizabeth and Nancy were sisters???
