Is this is your Thomas b abt 1824, parents Thomas & Elizabeth Swindler (Swindle) Piner? I have a Susan Gaines who married Lewis Rexrode (my line) on June 12, 1904 in Rockingham County, Virginia at the residence of Edward Clayton. Is Susan in your line? Her parents are Henry & Sallie Gaines. Also, in the 1900 U.S. Census, District 59, Central, Rockingham County, Virginia, Thomas & Amanda Arey Piner had a Claire Gaines living with them as "help". She was born May 1885 in Virginia, is she in your line? I dont have any on the Gaines except for what I stated above, but I'm sure there's some more of a connection w/my Piner's.
