Jesse Houchen [middle name Pearl] married George Washington Dean, Sr. on 2 March 1910 in Rockingham County, Va. She is listed in her 1944 obit as the daughter of Dewitt and Mary Houchen with surviving brothers Marshall, Albert, Lurty, and Percy Houchen. The trouble is that I find this family listed in the 1910 census and they are listed as Taylors, not Houchens..... 1910 Harrisonburg, Central District, Rockingham County, Va., ED 72, sheet 42A, 13 May 1910 dwelling 770 Dee H.
