    3. Thanks. I just received from a woman named Betty Martz a chapter from a book that someone from Maryland wrote on the Martz family. Chapter 29 has to do the with Martz of Rockingham County, VA and on page 161 of the book there's a listing for the marriage of Sebastian Martz and Lydia Messerly, Dec. 2, 1839. The chapter I received is very disjointed, but it looks as if this is a piece I was looking for. But, now I have no way to document it. I need to go back to the author of this book. Thanks so much for your help. I am truly most appreciative. Linda Keeler

    1. [VAROCKIN] Mary UNKNOWN CLINE FLORY
    2. My 2GGM Elizabeth YOUNG FLORY died in 1843 at Mill Creek, Rockingham Co, VA, and she is buried in the abandoned Flory Farm Cemetery. By the 1850 Census my 2GGF Samuel FLORY is living with his presumed wife Mary [listed as born in Virginia]. I have not been able to locate a marriage record for Samuel & Mary. Family oral history says that she was a widow "Mrs. Cline" who lived within a easy buggy ride of the Flory Farm on Mill Creek. She is buried at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren, next to her step-son, my GGF Noah FLORY with tombstone dates of 19 Sep 1799 - 2 Sep 1887. Does anyone know anything about Mary UNKNOWN CLINE FLORY? Looking for a maiden name, name of her first husband, or anything. [I would not rule out that Cline could be Kline] Thom Flory
