Valley Well Known Farmer and Blacksmith Passes Away at 6:25 a.m.; Funeral Thursday Morning Samuel Armentrout, farmer, blacksmith and widely known resident of Mountain Valley section, died at 6:15 a.m. yesterday at his home at Mountain Valley precinct following a long period of ill health. He was 69 years old. Mr. Armentrout was a son of the late William Armentrout. He was born and spent his entire life in the Mountain Valley section, where he was widely known by everyone and regarded as a leading citizen. Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. P.S. Thomas, of Harrisonburg, officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity cemetery.
