The name however seems to be a combinaton of the tribe she belonged to or was adopted by, the Chalakatha (which BTW was the basis for the naming of the town of Chillicothe, OH) and perhaps Senado was a variant or misspelling of her original tribe, the Senedo. I can find nothing in the book which explains the origin of that name. The book also seems to conflict with other histories of the Native tribes and nations. Don Greene seems to think that all these tribes were part of the Shawnee nation but other histories place them as part of the Iraquois or Algonquins. I don't think we will get anyone to agree on the origin of these tribes but lets take the data for what it's worth. I would like to know where he got that information. Don Greene seems lackadaisical about sources and footnotes which does not help when trying to determine where this information came from. Will try to contact Don Greene and see if he is willing to share his source or at least explain what the numbers mean behind many of the names (indexing system?)
