Hi Sally, I am not sure, but I don't think so. I don't recall either name in my notes. In the 1880 census the children ran from about 21 to 3 years. She divorced my great grandfather, Mickleberry H. Lamb in about 1882 and left him in Rockingham Co. I think that is so funny, you rarely hear of a divorce in those days, but I have the papers. Is is name familiar to you? Hi Everyone, I would be interested in the Andrews line. I have not started researching the Andrews yet, but found them in my line. Noah Clark Shiflet b. 2-11-1834 m. Rachel Virginia "Jennie" Andrews b. 9-11-1854 Jennies parents were Jacob and Peggy Andrew. Noah and Jennie had 9 children as listed below. Tina A. Shiflet b. 9-1869 Charles Elmer Shiflet b. 5-7-1871 Jasper A. Shiflet b. 6-5-1874 Clayborne P. Shiflet b. 1-20-1876 Wilbert F. Shiflet b 1878 Albert Shiflet b. 5-1884 Amie C. Shiflet b. 5-1884 Anna C. Shiflet b. 5-1884 Arthur N. Shiflet b 10-1886 Now, Noah was born in Beldor Hollow, Rockingham County. Eventually, after his marriage to Jennie Andrew they moved on to Clover Hill. Thats where both Noah and Jennie are buried. Also, many of their children are buried there. Does anyone connect?
