    3. I am searching for information about WIlbur H. Johnson my grandfather, b. Jan 23,1877 somewhere in WV. Me married several times. I was told that he and his last wife Lillian or Eleanor (supposedly owned a chicken farm) lived in Grottoes probably during 1930-1973. That they were buried in or near Grottoes. I have spoke to 2 Funeral Homes there and they do not have them in their files. Can anyone help me find any information on him? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have any information regarding Luther William Roach, son of Esta Ella Roach, born in Harrisonburg (some say in Berryville), Rockingham County on 1/15/1892 who on 3/21/1913 married Hattie Lee Shifflett, daughter of Whitfield Christian Shifflett and Cora Comer, born in Harrisonburg (some say in Berryville), Rockingham County on 3/27/1896? I have Luther William Roach's father as someone by the last name of Miller - possibly Walter Miller, but not certain. Esta Ella Roach later married John Richard Gooden and had additional children: Ruth Cordell Gooden, Oscar Gooden, and Lonsby Cecil Gooden.     2. Hi, I am looking for anybody who has any information on the Glovier family from Dry Fork VA. in Rockingham Co. Derrick Glovier was my gr gr gr grandfather. He married Mary Ann Simmers in 1850. Glovier is not a very common name. According to a birth certificate for their son, Joseph Glovier, they were living in Dry Fork, Linville Township. Any help would be appreciated. Where is Dry Fork????

    2. I have found a dead end in searching for information on the Harter Family. My earliest is George Harter who died in 1806. His son Geroge born 1770-1775 in Rockingham Co. married Elizabeth ? and died in 1835 in Licking Co. Ohio. The other children were: Adam married Elizabeth (also to Licking Co.), Philip (married Marylia Oldman, Henry maried Catherine Dove, John, and Mary (married John Dispennet).
