    3. Please see if these folks sound familiar to anyone: In the VA Marriage Index Simon SNIDER married Mary PENCE, 22May1806 in Rockingham Co. Could that be the same Simon that was my GGGGrandfather? Simon SNYDER b abt 1773 in PA; sons Jacob born VA abt 1810; Valentine born abt 1818 in VA; and Adam 1812 in VA. Son John and dau Martha Magdalene birth place and date unknown. All these folks were in Preble Co OH before 1834, where Simon died in 1850. I have not been able to find any kind of record for Simon's wife, so I'm sure she predeceased him, but don't know where or when. No wife is mentioned in Simon's will. Thanks Jim Lewis, Seguin TX

    3. Hi All! I have received information that two relatives - William & Susannah RAWLEY SANDY were buried in SPADER Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mt. Crawford, Virginia. Is there a possibility that this is RADER Lutheran Church in Timberville? Or, does SPADER Lutheran Church actually exist? I have never heard of it. Any replies would be very much appreciated! 3. Martha, I haven't attended the Brock's Gap Heritage Day, but I understand it is a day for sharing stories, family histories, photos, etc. and you can also purchase publications regarding that area and it's families. The easiest way to get there from Fairfax is to take I66 to I81 south, then take the Mauzy/Timberville/Broadway exit (I think it's Rt 259) and follow it thru Broadway and on toward W. Virginia. You'll eventually run into Fulk's Run. 2. Hello, Does anyone have any information on the following families from the Rockingham County census of 1810. Adam Oarbough male 45+ (1) female 45+ (1) William Oarbough male 26-44 (1) female under 10 (1) 10-15 (1) 26-44 (1) Abraham Oarbaugh male under 10 (1) 26-44 (1) female under 10 (2) 26-44 (1) Andrew Oarbaugh male under 10 (1) 16-25 (1) 26-44 (1) 45+ (1) female 26-44 (1) 45+ (1) Christian Oarbaugh male 26-44 (1) female under 10 (2) 26-44 (1) Looking specifically for Christina Orebaugh (probably born circa 1790, died before 1816) married Abraham Silvius/Silvious 30 Mar 1808 in Rockingham County. AND Margaret Orebaugh (born circa 1786, died circa 1815) married Daniel Runyon/Runion 29 Oct 1805 in Rockingham County. I am researching families allied to Orebaughs by these two marriages, but would like to nail down the possible connection (or lack thereof) between Margaret and Christina. Will share any relevant information I have. Thanks!
