Hi Everyone, This is in response to Chuck's excellent idea. I have never posted to the list before, ( a newbie and shy I guess), but just had to when I read his suggestion to list our surnames. I would also be willing to do some marriage lookups, although only for about 2 weeks, as the book is on loan from the NGS library. It is the VA Historic Marriage Register, Rockingham Co. Marriages, 1778-1850, by John Vogt and T. William Kethley, Jr. You can email me direct or post to the list. My Rockingham surnames are as follows: FITZWATER, STRAWDERMAN, RIGGLEMAN, HARLESS, REDSLEEVE, WHETZEL, WEATHERHOLTZ, DRAIS and SHERMAN/SHIREMAN(not sure about the Sherman connection in Rockingham). I am particularly trying to determine who Caty's parents were. Anyone researching Caty's family the Whitmeyers? I'd love to get in contact with you.
