    1. Re: [VAROCKIN] Re: George Zimmerman/Carpenter (Hallau, SH, Switzerland to Rockingham Co, VA)
    2. George Zimmermann/Carpenter, Sr.'s children seem to be pretty well established by the 1829 will of his son Conrod, who died without issue and left his estate in ten equal shares to his 2 half brothers and his 8 full brothers and sisters [listed by name - in a number of cases the sibling had pre-deceased Conrod, and their tenth was divided among that sibling's heirs; the probate disbusements still exist]. So unless Mathias died before 1829 and had no children, I'm pretty sure he is not a son of George, sr. I have NO information on parents or siblings of George, sr so I can not rule out Mathias being a cousin or other relative. Do you have a connection between Mathias and Fudge / Shitley? If you can get the new Daniel Fulk and Sally Souder book it has quite a lot of this family. For example on page 481 it says- Homer D Dove born 11/30/1892 md Ivy Blanche Roadcap on 5/31/1915. Blanche was the child of Joseph and Sattie [ could be misprint] Roadcap she was bn10/27/1899. So this kinda fits your list. Also I knew several of Homer and Blanches children personnaly as Grattan,Goldie and lived right beside Shirley. In 1965 Ivy Blanche married Charles Carr who died in 1979. Blanche died at age 87 in New Market and is bd in Mt. Grove Brethren Cem. Hope this is a start= Bennie Getz

    3. Hi Gang, I know this is a bit vague, but I am looking for the Mother and Father of Etha E. WIlliams born April 15 1889. I don't know what county she would have been born in but most of the family was in Rockingham County VA. If anyone has census reports of that era, Etha`s father was John Samuel Williams and Mother might have been Mary. I know these details are little but I am in high hopes someone might be able to help me. Thanks in advance. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5BC.2ACI/698.1.1.1.2.1.2 Message Board Post: Actually I have seen the name spelled both ways although I must admit I meant to use the Senedo spelling. Poor typing and no spell check on the boards. I also admit I have never seen the word aboriginal in conjunction with the Senedos but many sources say they are an ancient tribe. One specifically states the Senedo were in the Shenendoah valley for at least 1000 years. The word aboriginal usually means an ancient group of people who are native to an area and the Senedo do qualify as that. They may not be as old a people as the Aboriginees of Australia but they meet the criteria. Here is a site worth looking at in reference to the Senedo which may also be refferred to as the Shendo, Senendo and even Genundo, http://www.basyevortex.com/ This site is about an actual energy phenomenon that exists in the Shenendoah Valley and that has been related to the Senedo.
