    3. Chocy; I had a aunt name Mable Howton who lived and also I believe was born in Walla Walla Wash. She passed away about 2 yr's ago ( memory here). She was mar. to my mom's brother in 1930's I think there. He was Orville Barnett. he was killed by injuries with a dump bed on a truck he was driving wouldn't come down and he stuck his head under to see why and it fell on him, the day after Easter in 1950's or early 1960's. I think. He died in Seattle Hospital as flown by plane there living abt 4 hr's after accident. Both Mable and Orville are bur. in Sequim, Wash cem beside each other. She then later mar. to a man name last of Peachy and he died abt in 1980's ??. She was Mable Peachy at her death and died in Bremerton, Wa. I think. I do have dates etc. in my Gen. I had also met her mother yr's ago before she died. Mable and Orville had two girls. Orlaine and Verna Lee. Orlaine had a son and dau. by Ferdenstien(?) on spelling and div . she then mar. Del Clinton(? ) on spelling and lives in Silverdale, Wash.. Verna Lee Barnett mar and had 4 ch/ 3 girls and 1 boy. and div. never remarried. She lives in Pasco, Wa. The HOWTON family probably are in Walla Walla, Wash. area in 1930 census. It is directly behind the homeplace on the hill. Gordon was married to my grandmother's niece Lilly Hansbrough. Also the cemetery that you mentioned up behind the old barn is referred to as the Jack Baugher Cemetery. My great grandparents Morias Jordan and Sarah Crawford Hansbrough are buried there. My husband and I along with Gordon Wood and members of his family and Ray, Paul John, George and Eugene Hansbrough cleaned up that cemetery back in April of 1993. We collected money from Jordan and Sarah's descendants and purchased a headstone which Ray Hansbrough and Delbert Wood had placed on their grave prior to our cleaning it up. I have not been back since so I do not know what kind of shape it is in. There was some family members who lived in t! he area that were going to try to keep up with it. I am not sure who owns the property but Delbert Wood who also lives on the Sandy Bottom Road knows the owner and got us permission. The Jack Baugher cemetery is listed on the Cemetery Project on the Rockingham Co. Virginia website. Hope this information is helpful. Cathy
