I found WAL's probate in Cowlitz County at the Courthouse. Diana died first, but she is mentioned in the document. Her middle initial there is "F" -- although I see how someone might mistake it for a "T". Some later document might correct me, but "F" makes sense, as their first daughter was named Frances and their first son was named John William after WAL. The adventure continues . . .
