By the way, John and Mary are buried at Neriah Baptist Church, Rockbridge County on land donated from the Paxton farm for the church to be built. John William, their 12 year old grandson is buried next to them. Samuel was buried in a "mass grave" for Confederates at Pt. Lookout.
