My first lineal ancestors, William & son Alexander arrived in the US about 1730 and later settled into Lexington, VA where a country plantation was built named Sunrise and still stands, which I've visited and have photos of. Sunrise has been restored and is now a horse farm with it's own web site under that name if you want to do a google search.
