Anna would not be used on secular papers such as wills and the census. Look for Magdalena/Modelena/Madoline. and of course Fuchs and Fox are interchangeable. Nicholas Hartsock died april 4, 1821 and Catharine Elizabeth died circa sept. 27, 1788. Enbleburt had at least one cousin Magdalena Hartsock. There was also another Magdalena Hartsock that married a Schenk and lived in VA across the Potomac River from Frederick County. Just thought I would throw that in in case you ever come across them.
