Do you have any information on how Diana is reflected in the 1850 and 1840 censuses? The only Jacob Saville that I can find in those listings does not seem to be her father. I have information that WAL and Diana travelled to Washington State via the isthmus of Panama. That would make sense given the quickness of their trip, and given that WAL returned to Virginia to marry her by that route. Baby Francess only lived to be two.
