Surnames: Saville, McCorkle Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4BC.2ACI/2116 Message Board Post: I am researching Diana Saville who married Willliam Alexander Lockridge McCorkle in Rockbridge County in 1856 and have the basics: birth date, marriage, children, death, etc. I have a couple of questions, however. On the marriage record, Diana is listed with a middle initial "T". Does anyone know what that stands for? I find no reference to a middle name anywhere else. Her parents were Jacob Saville and Nancy Shafer. Does anyone have personal information, such as where the house was located, why there was no communication after she went west (I know she promised not to), and such like.
