Goodbar, John B. Goodbar and Polly Clark who had my G Grandfather Harry L. Goodbar who married Cynthia V. (Wilkinson) also called Jenny - They gave birth to my Grandfather Samuel Gray Goodbar October, 1893 in Rockbridge. Jenny divorced Harry Goodbar and moved to Henry Co. Indiana where she and Gray Goodbar are in the 1900 census staying with her mother Nancy (Glenn) Wilkinson also from Rockbridge,VA. Jenny (Cynthia V. Wilkinson) Goodbar died in 1906 and Gray Goodbar was put in an ophanage in Henry Co., Indiana. In 1914 he married my Grandmother Mary Grace Shoemaker from Indiana and they had my father ROBERT EUGENE GOODBAR in 1922. My father Robert married Lois E. Neal in Michigan and I was born in 1942 Carole Jean GOODBAR. No one else had the name GOODBAR - it caused me a lot of teasing thur the years. It took me 60 years to find my roots for my father died when I was 9 months old and my mother re-married. Now I've found my roots. Hello COUSINS Let me know if there is a reunion..
