It shows only three Webster's for Prince William County, and Caleb Simpson/Matilda, they are as follows: Household#298 all born in Virginia Caleb Simpson 49 Tenant Matilda 44 William H. 22 Laborer Mary F. 21 George A. 19 Laborer Lucy A. 18 Caleb S. 16 Laborer Moses P. 15 Laborer John T. 13 Sarah Jane 11 Samuel J. 9 Martha M. 8 Susan V. 7 L. S. 5 male Lavenia 2 Matilda E. 6 William P. Hereford 33 School Teacher HouseHold# 299 Lucy Webster 79 born in Maryland James E. 14 born in Virginia Household# 711 all born in Virginia James R. Webster 40 Cooper Deliah 35 Elizabeth 14 Susan 9 Richard H. 6 Cloy A. 3 _____Webster 4/12 months female Household # 458 Jane Webster 40 lived with a family by the surname Davis I also have the US Census Index for 1820 and 1840. They show the following names as heads of household and the census page number. Prince William 1820 census index Page 261 John Webster Page 261 Philip Webster [this could be the P. Webster for 1830] Page 261 William Webster [this could be the Wm. for 1830] Prince William 1840 US census index Page 276 James R. Webster Page 278 Mary Webster Page 296 Philip Webster Page 289Reason Webster Page 272 Stephen Webster Page 272 John Webster Is your family of Haislip and Brawner from Charles Co. MD. I noticed that there were many by that name from Charles Co., MD., and so was Lucy Webster age 79 listed in Prince William 1850 census born in Maryland. Just a thought. June
