Hi, Does anyone have the book Virginia Genealogies, by Horace Edwin Hayden (Wilkes-Barre, Pa., 1891)? I'm wondering if it mentions any Cross families: John Cross (est.1813-1890), Prince William County; William Cross (d.1828), Loudoun Co. Also, does anyone know where in Prince William County Stryder's Mill was located? That's where two of John Cross's sons (John P. and Hamilton) enlisted in 1862 in Co.A, 4th VA Cav. The family lived at Rock Hill Farm which is off of what is now Pageland Lane. Thanks for any help....Bonnie in OKC
