Samuel Clagett. He was rector of William and Mary Parish in Charles County, MD. In the 1750s he married Ann Brown, the yougest of the nine daughters of Dr. Gustavus Brown of "Rich Hill".. Five of Brown's daughters married clergymen. This information is on page 262 of a book entitled "The Sydney-Smith and Clagett-Price Genealogy" by Lucy Montgomery Smith Price, published in 1927. Page 262 notes "(See Brown Sketch)' which indicates to me that there is information about the Brown family in the book.
