    1. [VAPWILLI-L] Philip and Lucy Webster around 1830

    3. There are entries in the Census for PWC in 1830 and 1840 for Philip Webster. There is an entry in the Census for PWC in 1850 for Lucy Webster. The inventory papers for Henry Haislip (son of Abigail and James Haislip) list a P. Webster and Lucy Webster. Lucy was the daughter of Abigail and James. It appears Philip and Lucy may have had at least two daughters: Lucy Ann Webster who married William L Brawner and Matilda Webster who married Caleb Simpson. Matilda is living next door to Lucy Webster in 1850. There was probably also a son since Lucy Webster is living with James E Webster (aged 14) in 1850. This could have been her grandson. It may be that Philip was related to the family of Philip Webster who was born in Prince Georges County, MD about 1743/44. This family were millers. If anyone has anything on this family, please let me know. Cheers Lynne Simpson Canberra Australia
