Hi Prince William Co., Researchers, I found a reference to MICAH PEYTON, on a Rev War list for Prince William Co. Does anyone on this list know anything about him? Also listed for Prince Wm Co. were John & Valentine Peyton. Does anyone know the relationship of these Peytons. Were John & Valentine brothers, or father and son? They were both Capt. under Col Heth (Heath). I am researching JOHN PEYTON married to a CHARLOTTE, and son MICAJAH PEYTON married to CHRISTINE PEYTON. To all: I am researching the Harrold, Harrill etc. families of Prince William county. Richard Harrold, Harrill bought 1200 acres of land in Orange Co. Va. abt. 1740 from William Russell.. In this deed it is stated that Richard Harrold, Harrill is "of Prince William county, Va." In 1749 & 1751 Richard Harrold, Harrill etc. made deeds to his six sons, giving them most of the 1200 acres.. I would very much like to know who the father of Richard Harrold was..
