Bill, Even though I was not the person who ask the original question I want to thank you for all that info. I too have family who lived in that area and will keep your informative letter for future reference. I am waiting for a copy of the will for my 4x great grandfather William Fairfax who owned 1,004 acres in Prince William Co and I have been lead to believe it was in the very area you talked about. We are hoping to find the land in hopes of finding a family cemetery and your info gives me lots of directions to go in. Thanks again from a list member who really lucked out today.
