    3. Shelley - We have several compiled lists of cemeteries and burials in Prince William County. Many cemeteries span the Civil War period (although few antebellum cemeteries here have surviving tombstones). Are you looking for a particular MILITARY cemetery? Union or Confederate? Are you looking for a particular grave? Was the decedent a resident or non-resident of Prince William County? What facts can you provide about name and military unit? All those factors will determine whether there is a marked grave or record of burial. Sincerely, Donald L. Wilson, Virginiana Librarian Ruth E. 3. Dear Donald, I accidentally sent my e-mail before it was done. I'm not sure how I did that, but somehow I did. Anyway, to conclude: The family of John and Sarah Jones Thomas appears to have been living in the Dumfries area. I would love to be able to find graves for them. Any suggestions? Thank you. Shelley
