Lynn, According to the Selecman Family History written in 1940 after 50 years of research on this family and related families(of which I am of the Fisher branch) Jane Elizabeth was the daughter of William Rufus and Margaret Selecman . William was born in 1800 and Margaret 1813. Both were born in Fairfax Va. and also were cousins.
