Hi, Laura Actually I don't really know anything about my Joneses. I only know that my great-great-grandmother was Sarah Jones who was born in Virginia around 1816. She married John Thomas probably in the early 1830s and they lived somewhere in the Dumfries area - possibly in "Quantico Neck", wherever that was. I wish I knew more about my Joneses and Thomases but I don't even know when John and Sarah died so I can't get death certificates for them. However, I haven't been researching this part of my family for very long so I am confident that I will eventually learn more about them.
