Howdy: According to information that I have come across in my genealogical research of the Bland Family of Virginia, Samuel Phillips Lee was a Rear Admiral in the U. S. Navy and Blair Lee was a Senator from Maryland from 1913 to 1917. They both were descendants of Richard Henry Lee (1732-1794). Thomas Lee the father of Richard Henry was the brother of the Henry Lee who married Mary Bland, daughter of Col Richard Bland and Elizabeth Randolph of the Jordans in Virginia.
