Dear Ann Thanks for replying to my query about Zephaniah. I did not have the information about Francis Pridmore. The Brawner family I am following is a major line of my husband's family. Their oral history has it that all the Brawners in Prince William were related, but how is lost in antiquity. Somehow I get the feeling that Zephaniah is one of the keys. It would be interesting to discover who his first wife and family were and when he is first recorded in PWC. Somehow Zephaniah, William L, Capt John C and Henry Brawner are all connected quite closely. Unfortunately no-one seems to be able to shed any light on how.
