Group, Since it just happened to me again, thought I might send this reminder. If you used floppy disks to backup your data files, it's a good idea to periodically run a disk check program (such as SCANDISK) on them. I keep to sets (3 disks each) of my data. Today I ran SCANDISK on both sets and found that the program couldn't read cluster 67 on one and cluster 62 on the other, both on disk # 1and that the data was probably lost. That early on disk # 1probably means that the set was useless if I needed to restore a damaged database. Dick Cazier
