Dear William Thank you for that help. I have indeed contacted Don Wilson about the Websters of Prince William. He was looking for a Philip Webster for me due to the "clues" I had scraped together from what information I had. However, further information indicated that the man in question may be a William Webster. Hence the general question to VAPWILLI. Don Wilson is a wonderfully helpful resource, but I try to contact him as a last resort rather than a first base call. If anyone knows anything about a William/Philip Webster who lived in Prince William between 1780 and 1850, please let me know. I think the Prince William County Library (Bull Run Branch) has an index of Wills and/or Probates but I'm not absolutely sure. You may want to contact Don Wilson, ... Haislip is a surname in a neighboring county, Stafford. I can't remember why it caught my attention but I must have seen the name somewhere. I once lived in that other county. Two are listed in the phone directory. I noticed this surname in your listing. If the families are mixed together that early you might want to contact them. I realize this is a long shot but who knows... I've hit a couple like that. I'd be glad to forward the phone numbers and addresses for these people if you're interested. Since they are local calls, I'd even call for you if need be. > >****************************** William C.
