Hi Sue, I've been told (but have not verified) that Sarah Hoskins (b abt 1638; d 1672) married 1658/9 to Thomas Meador Jr (b 1638/41, Eng; d. abt 1662). They had at least one child named Dorothy (b 1656) in Essex Co VA. This and other Meador info was sent to me by a Meador descendant who said he had mostly gotten it off the internet and hadn't verified any of it either. My Dorothy Meador of old Rappahannock & Essex Co VA (who married Richard Awbrey) would be the right age & in the right place. I have been told that the Meadors lived along Hoskins Creek which would lend further sensibility to the theory of a connection.
