    2. Charles K. Newman
    3. I have a copy of a letter, June 28, 1914, written by J.E.Herrell, Clerk of Circuit Court of Prince William County (Capt.,Co.F.,17th Regt.,CSA) in response to a request for information by my great aunt Eula Hutchison (of Orange), reguarding her father's (my great grandfather) military service during the Conflict. Capt. Herrell names a number of battles he thinks Robert Leachman Hutchison, and his brother Frederick, fought in. He was not sure of this because he had been "detailed for special duty just before the Second Manassas". He goes on to invite Aunt Eula to visit him, that he has three daughters living close by. A Mrs. Beale, Haymarket, "one at the Henry House who married a grandson of the Mr(?). Henry who was killed at the first battle of Manassas", and a third, "Mrs. NEWMAN who lives just across the street from us." There were three Herrells listed in the Clerk's Office on the letterhead, so I'm sure there are still some in the area. Can anyome help me: 1.- Any history on the daughter, Mrs NEWMAN. 2.- Any records on the Hutchisons, who were said to have been born "on the county line of Pr. Wm. and Loudoun counties". Their father was Wm. F., mother Martha L(ewis) Brawner, Hutchison. I have a lot of info on the Hutch's descendents plus a LOT of Newman if anyone can help.
