Taylor MARTIN, a well known Presbyterian divine of Dublin, Pulaski County, Virginia, died suddenly at Rockfish depot, Nelson County, Va., on the 19th where he was conducting a protracted meeting. Twenty-five or more years ago Mr. MARTIN was President of Statesville female college and is remebered by some of our older citizens. He was a brother of the late Rev. W.J. MARTIN, of Davidson College, and made a brilliant record as a confederate soldier.
